Entry the First

Welcome to the journal of Tim and Rebecca as we embark upon this journey we call....well....we just call it a wedding.

I was inspired to do this by a now abandoned journal that I started for my sister's wedding. It was an attempt to bring together the bridesmaids and family - a place where everyone could join us through each step of the wedding process. It was a place to communicate easily - even if it was just to trade comments about when someone would be around to make a phone call. Well, it didn't work.

That's an understatement, actually. It rolled over and died. (Sorry, Melis.)

Call me persistant. Call me stubborn. But I wanted to try it. My hope is that both Tim and I will be updating this journal periodically just so that you can all be with as through the journey.

The most exciting entries, I'm sure, will include such gems as, "I bought my socks for the wedding!" and "I bought a pen for the guest book!"

Seriously, though, the most important thing to us is that we are sharing this day with the people that we love. So while we won't be describing a lot of the stuff (because most of it should be a surprise) there will be certain people (like the bridal party) that should PLEASE feel free to use the comments sections to get to know each other.

We may also be begging for advice here, so bookmark this site!!!!!
